1. Information We Collect

When you use our website or contact us for services, we may collect: your name, phone number, email address, service address, and details about your project. We collect this information when you submit a booking form, contact form, or call/text us directly.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to: respond to your inquiries, schedule and confirm appointments, send appointment reminders, follow up on completed jobs, and improve our services. We do not sell your information to third parties.

3. Communications

By providing your phone number, you consent to receive text messages and calls from SmartSpaceInnovations, LLC related to your service request. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any text message.

4. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information. However, no transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We encourage you not to share sensitive information (like financial details) via email or web forms.

5. Website Analytics and Session Recording

We run our own analytics on this website, on our own servers. When you browse the site we record: the pages you visit, clicks (where on the page you clicked and a short description of what you clicked), how far you scroll, your device type, browser and operating system, an approximate location (city, region and country, derived from your network by our hosting provider), and which advertisement, search result or referring website brought you here.

For a sample of visits (about one in four), we also capture a replay of the visit — a reconstruction of what the page looked like and how you moved through it, so we can see where the site is confusing or broken.

What we deliberately do not capture:

  • Anything you type into a form is masked before it is recorded. The replay never contains your name, phone number, email address, or any other value you enter. When a form records that you started filling it in, it stores the name of the field only — never its contents.
  • The confirmation screen shown after you submit a request is masked in the same way, so your details do not appear in a replay.
  • Pages that show your own information — your customer account, booking management, estimates, invoices, forms and payment pages — are never replayed. The private links to them are stored without the code that opens them, and clicks there are recorded without the text of what you clicked.
  • Your full IP address is never stored. It is shortened to a network-level approximation the moment it reaches our server.
  • We do not record anything on our staff-only administration pages.

Linking a visit to your request. If you submit a booking or estimate request, we store which visit it came from alongside that request. This lets us understand which advertising and referrals actually produce work, and lets us review the visit if something went wrong with your request. It also means a visit can be connected to you by name once you have contacted us.

Do Not Track is honoured. If your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, we record none of the above and we do not connect your visit to your booking. You can enable it in your browser's privacy settings.

How long we keep it. Visit replays are deleted after 14 days, individual activity records after 90 days, and visit summaries after roughly 100 days. This happens automatically.

This analytics data is not sold and is not shared with advertisers.

6. Third-Party Services

Our website relies on these outside services. Each has its own privacy policy, and some set their own cookies:

  • Google Analytics (where enabled), for traffic analysis on our public pages.
  • Microsoft Clarity, which records clicks, scrolling and the pages viewed on our public pages so we can see where the site is confusing and improve it. Anything you type, and the personal details shown after you submit a request, are masked before they reach Microsoft. It is not loaded on your account, booking-management, estimate, invoice, form or payment pages. Microsoft's Privacy Statement applies to it.
  • OpenAI advertising measurement. A pixel from OpenAI loads on our public pages so we can tell whether our ads on ChatGPT lead to booking and estimate requests. When you submit a request it reports that a request happened, not what you entered.
  • Google reCAPTCHA on our forms, to block spam. Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply to it.
  • Google Maps and Places, for the map on our contact page and to suggest addresses as you type one.
  • Stripe, which processes card payments. Your card details go straight to Stripe; we never see or store them.

We do not share your personal contact information with Google Analytics or our advertising partners.

7. Cookies and Browser Storage

Our own analytics does not use cookies. It stores a random identifier in your browser's local storage so that repeat visits from the same browser can be recognised — this identifier is not linked to you personally unless you submit a request. Third-party services such as Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity may set their own cookies. You can clear browser storage and disable cookies in your browser settings; the site works normally without them.

8. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us at management@smartspaceinnovations.com. A deletion request covers both your customer record and any website-visit data we hold for you.
